TALC is Actively Seeking new Delegates!

This past year has been an inspiring time for organized labor and we at the Troy Area Labor Council want to welcome new and established unions to join our monthly meetings and organize with us. For over a century the Troy Area Labor Council has been on the right side of history on countless issues related to labor and social justice.

We meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 7PM to discuss new and old business and share updates on union activity in the region. Sometimes, for special projects, we'll for working groups that meet more frequently. Our work as a council typically involves solidarity picketing, endorsing candidates for elected offices with jurisdiction in Rensselaer County, and supporting constituent unions' advocacy.

Anyone in an AFL-CIO affiliated union who either works or lives in Rensselaer County is eligible to be a delegate to TALC. If you would like to become a delegate to the Troy Area Labor Council first check with your local's leadership about the process for being designated a delegate to a labor council.
